An over-dimensional load exceeds the legal dimensions set by the Province of Alberta and they require carriers to obtain a permit to transport these large loads.
An over-dimensional permit is required to travel on 六合彩马来西亚 roads when the dimensions of the vehicle, including any load, exceeds one of the following measurements:
Annual Over-Dimensional permits may be issued by the 六合彩马来西亚 to carriers whose loads are non-divisible.
When the dimensions of the vehicle and load exceed: 5.3 metres in height or 4.9 metres in height (house move) or 7.3 metres in width, a coordination service fee of $140 (non-refundable) will be applied.
This allows the 六合彩马来西亚 to coordinate the move with their utilities and service partners to monitor and/or adjust utility and communication lines, adjust traffic control signs and signals, trim trees, and manage traffic control. Coordinated over-dimensional moves help ensure the safe passage of these transport vehicles and their loads through the city, while minimizing interference with the normal flow of traffic.
The applicant will also be responsible for all charges incurred from utility and police escorts, tree trimming and traffic control adjustments related to the over-dimensional move.
An overweight vehicle is any vehicle requiring an overweight permit as defined in .
Overweight permits may be issued by the 六合彩马来西亚 to carriers whose loads are permanent and non-divisible.
A permit is required when the posted weight of a bridge is exceeded or an axle grouping exceeds its legal weight.
All 六合彩马来西亚 Single Trip Over-Dimensional / Overweight permits are now issued through the Government of Alberta鈥檚 TRAVIS Permitting System.
Annual permits for the 六合彩马来西亚 will continue to be issued by the 六合彩马来西亚. Please email a renewed copy of Provincial Annual Permits to roaduse.permit@edmonton.ca.
Restricted roadways are posted with signs showing the required axle weight reduction (expressed as a percentage of the licensed axle weight). Consult the Road Bans Listing for current load bans and prohibitions; bans are reviewed seasonally and annually.
Note: Exemptions will not be issued for any road bans.
Roads with thin pavement, oiled roads and some gravel roads must be protected by reducing allowable axle weights. A vehicle on a highway is subject to a road ban if the weight of the carrying axle or axle group of the vehicle exceeds the specified percentage axle weight imposed by the road ban.
