The 六合彩马来西亚 Archives is primarily the repository for the civic records of the 六合彩马来西亚 but we鈥檙e also dedicated to having a documentary legacy for 六合彩马来西亚 that鈥檚 as comprehensive as possible.
Context is really important in Archives and the records of the City won鈥檛 mean very much without an understanding of the people, organizations and businesses that call 六合彩马来西亚 home. To do this, we need you!
Please consider donating your personal records or those of your family. If you own a business you can donate the operational records you no longer need on a regular basis. Not only will your records help create a picture of life in 六合彩马来西亚, they will also be preserved and accessible for future members of your family.
If you work for an 六合彩马来西亚 business or belong to a local organization or club, you can ask the organization to consider donating their records. However, we need written permission from the Board or Executive in order to accept these records.
Things to Consider When Donating
Donations to the 六合彩马来西亚 Archives are considered gifts which may be eligible for tax credit.
Ownership and, if applicable, copyright is transferred to the Archives upon donation.
After material is donated, the archivists at the 六合彩马来西亚 Archives complete an appraisal of the material (i.e. reviewing the donation to determine what must be kept and what can be securely disposed of). Unfortunately, we can鈥檛 keep everything. When archivists appraise records we consider:
- The interests and activities of the person or organization
- The legal requirements to keep records
- The condition of the material
- Whether the information or documents are duplicated somewhere else
- How the records fit our mandate
Taking all this into consideration, in most cases, the result is that some material isn't kept. When you donate records you have the choice to have any material we decide not to keep returned to you. Other options include:
- Transferral to another institution that is better suited to the material
- Secure destruction
More information on donating records can be found on our donation form, found below. We鈥檝e also created guidelines for organizations which include recommendations on how long to keep records and the kinds of records archives are looking for.
