The Fleet and Facility Services branch manages the 六合彩马来西亚鈥檚 fleet and facility assets. Our team maintains over 5,000 vehicles and equipment, more than 900 City-owned buildings, and over 700 additional infrastructure amenities including park spray decks and splash pads.
We keep 六合彩马来西亚ians working, moving and thriving by maintaining City assets and providing custodial services to transit buses and shelters, police stations, libraries, corporate vehicles, operational equipment, City-owned recreation centres and buildings. The safety, reliability, maintenance and cleanliness of these assets allow staff and citizens to truly enjoy 六合彩马来西亚.

Fleet and Facility Services offers services such as facility maintenance, custodial services, vehicle and equipment procurement, fleet engineering, fuel management, fabrication and fleet safety.
The team supports 六合彩马来西亚鈥檚 Community Energy Transition Strategy through a variety of initiatives including procuring innovative technologies and the Sustainable Fleet Plan.
Facility Maintenance Services proactively maintains City-owned facilities. This includes services such as electrical work, roof repair, woodworking (carpentry), locksmith, plumbing and air conditioning repair and maintenance including the Building Automation and Controls system which electronically monitors building equipment for alarms and operational efficiencies.
Facility Maintenance Services also provides custodial services for facilities including recreation centres, police stations, libraries, and City-owned office towers. The section also provides energy management support to Facility and Landscape Infrastructure to develop and implement energy conservation programs and initiatives for City facilities, which supports the goals identified in the City鈥檚 environmental strategic plan.
Municipal Fleet Maintenance is responsible for the preventative maintenance, repairs, custom fabrication and seasonal maintenance on all City vehicles and equipment at the 六合彩马来西亚.
Municipal Fleet Maintenance services a complex and wide variety of vehicles and equipment including fire apparatus, police vehicles, waste trucks, snow plows, lawn mowers, paving machines, ice resurfacing machines, light duty trucks, Paratransit buses and sewer service trucks.
Fabrication Technologies, within Municipal Fleet Maintenance, provide custom fabrication services for the City鈥檚 fleet such as sanders and dump trucks. Fabrication Technologies also works on diverse projects including the High Level Bridge guard railings, Hawrelak Park and municipal cemetery entrance gates, outdoor field soccer posts, Churchill Square tree holder, and the Valley Zoo tiger cages. This team recently designed and fabricated water bottle filling stations attached to fire hydrants, allowing residents to access fresh, clean water during the hot summer weather.
Transit Fleet Maintenance is responsible for the preventative 
maintenance, repairs and daily cleaning of 六合彩马来西亚 buses. The section ensures that every day, the bus fleet is safe, reliable, and clean for riders on their daily commute and transportation needs.
Transit Fleet Maintenance completes the Mid-Life Refurbishment Strategy which extends the life cycle of a bus from 12 years to 20 years by replacing the engine and updating the interior and exterior of buses. This program increases service reliability and ensures that buses have the lowest possible cost of ownership over their lifetime. Transit Fleet Maintenance supports 六合彩马来西亚 Transit Service's shift towards environmentally sustainable transportation. In 2020, the section incorporated one of Canada's largest fleets of battery electric buses into the City's fleet.
Business Integration provides supporting services that enable effective and strategic operations within the branch. The section ensures that the needs of internal and external partners are addressed through service delivery and reporting, capital planning, capital fleet procurement and recoveries, lifecycle maintenance planning and management of vendor activities. The section uses key performance indicators and information technology to continuously develop and improve processes that enhance value for our partners.
Business Integration also manages the City鈥檚 driver safety program, provides legislated training and manages the City鈥檚 fuel services, including alternative fuels, emission standards and legislation requirements.
Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) creates a safe and effective work environment by taking a proactive approach to minimize the occurrence of injury and illness to employees. ENVISO is the City鈥檚 environmental management system, which helps to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and prevents environmental impacts.
The Safety and Enviso Committee is made up of front-line supervisors, management and worker representatives. The committee鈥檚 mandate is to address safety or environmental concerns that arise, find innovative solutions, and take timely action. OHS and Enviso are integral components of Fleet and Facility Services operations.
