The Meadows Community Recreation Centre brings people together to enjoy sport, recreation, social and cultural activities – all under one roof! The 234,419 square-foot facility, located within the Meadows District Park, provides indoor and outdoor recreational opportunities for people of all ages and abilities - creating an active community hub that is open and welcoming year round.

'Benefits Plus' memberships/single admission allows you access to all recreation centres and outdoor pools including Clareview, The Meadows and Booster Juice Recreation Centre in Terwillegar.
Enjoy drop-in, instructor-led activities like aquafit and zumba with your 'Benefits Plus' membership/single admission as well.
Learning to swim is easy and fun with our swimming lessons for preschoolers, children, youth and adults.
Successfully complete a leadership program to obtain a pre-employment certification from the Lifesaving Society.

Welcome to The Meadows, one of our world-class community recreation centres. Our Member Experiences team can lead you on an in-depth tour of the facility, and help you find the programs, amenities and opportunities that will suit the individual needs of you and your family.
The Meadows Community Recreation Centre, a LEED® certified project, achieved silver level certification. If you are interested in a tour of the recreation centre to learn more about the LEED® green building features, please drop by the Main Information Desk on Tuesdays or Saturdays at 10am and one of our staff will be pleased to show you around. You are also welcome to visit the LEED® educational wall display inside the north entrance anytime during normal operating hours to learn more about the green building features.
